“My husband and I took our kids to this place and it was awesome! Our kids are teenagers, and they had so much fun! It was a good way to get them to get off of their phones for an hour or so. We escaped from the Infirmary, and we made it out with only 24 seconds left. It was so intense and so exhilarating. We had a group of 6 people total and we were all able to remain busy throughout the whole room. The puzzles were challenging but really made us use our brain power and come together as a family in order to figure them out. We had a room monitor in the room with us and they were awesome! We have done other escape rooms before without having an employee in the room with us, so we were not sure how we felt about that at first, but we ended up realizing that having someone in the room with us made it so much more fun! They were able to help us out very quickly and easily whenever we got stuck, but they weren’t overbearing and they let us have all the fun we wanted while also joking around with us the entire room. It was a cool new experience. The staff outside of the room was very helpful as well. We are tourists in the Detroit area, so we don’t really know what else there is to do around here, or especially where to eat. The staff was able to help us find some great restaurants around the downtown area and they were so kind even though we asked tons of questions! The staff were able to give us easy directions to all of the places that they recommended as well. They really made us feel at home in a brand new city! The Infirmary is a great room for families to do together. The end of the room can get pretty intense, but we were able to keep ourselves together for just long enough to save the patient! My kids can’t stop talking about how cool the setup of the room was. Next time we visit Detroit, we will definitely be coming back to try another room. We can’t wait to come back!”
